Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how LostGet uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Together they let the Service work, remember your preferences, and — with consent — measure usage and show ads.
2. Essential cookies
These keep you signed in, keep your session secure, and remember basic state. The Service cannot function without them, so they do not require consent.
3. Preference storage
We store your language and light/dark theme choice so the app remembers them between visits.
4. Analytics (consent-based)
When enabled and with your consent, analytics help us understand which features are used so we can improve them. Analytics stay off until you accept.
5. Advertising (consent-based)
We plan to show ads through Google AdSense to keep LostGet free. With your consent, advertising cookies may be used to measure and, where applicable, personalize ads. Consent is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform (Funding Choices).
6. Managing your choices
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, and change your decision any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then not work.
7. Third parties
Consent-based analytics and advertising involve Google. Their use of data is governed by their own policies.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as our use of cookies changes. Questions: privacy@lostget.com.
